UK Fetish Awards: Libidex wins Best Fetish Fashion Company

UK FETISH AWARDS: LIBIDEX WINS BEST FETISH FASHION COMPANY

In case you hadn’t heard, Libidex won the Best Fetish Fashion Company award (again!) at this year’s UK Fetish Awards, which took place earlier this month at London’s Proud Embankment venue.

We were among the businesses and individual in 18 categories who won “Best” accolades in the online voting organised by the event. The award categories ranged from fetish model, photographer and magazine through to commercial adult categories such as dominatrix, webcam performer and fetish dungeon.

In its online mission statement, UKFA organiser UK Glamour Awards says: “The UK Fetish Awards honours the talent and diversity within the fetish community, recognising performers, photographers, brands and designers who redefine and elevate the industry. This event offers a supportive, inclusive space to celebrate achievements, connect with professionals, and gain well-deserved recognition.

It continues: “Winners are determined by public votes, putting the power in the hands of fans and supporters to shape the outcome. The awards aim to highlight the passion and contributions of those driving the fetish industry forward. Participation is open to anyone 18+ who contributes to the fetish industry.”

The 2024 website lists more than 70 sponsors, although it’s not clear how many of these were actually sponsors for the most recent Fetish Awards event specifically. The vast majority listed are various types of commercial adult brands including Spearmint Rhino, Bondara, Darkside, Fetlife, Joyclub and Uberkinky, as well as the likes of Charmskool, Latex Fashion TV, Rubbercult, Killer Heels Photography, Latex 24/7 and of course Libidex. But there’s no sign of the earlier Fetish Awards partnership with ZDR.

The 2024 event saw a lot of those attending dressed in latex finery of one kind or another. But unsurprisingly, given the broad-brush nature of the event, attendees were also sporting leather and a variety of ‘fetish lite’ outfits.
