LATEXWEAR ROUNDUP: LADIES’ LEOTARD STYLES TO APRONS FOR MEN

For this new Libidex latexwear roundup — covering leotards, capes. gowns, robes and aprons — it’s important to note that, at the time of writing (July 26) the Libidex Grand Summer Sale was still running.

For this sale, prices of almost all items on the Libidex website were reduced by 25 percent — and this includes all our Best Sellers, which are normally already reduced by 10 percent. When the Summer Sale finishes, our Best Sellers will revert to being 10 percent off, while everything else will revert to full prices.

A leotard is one of the most versatile single garments for any woman to have in her latex wardrobe. It can be worn as a complete latex outfit on its own, teamed with other latex pieces, worn as a top teamed with non-latex daywear separates, or even used as a swimsuit. And if you fancy a latex leotard, you’re unlikely to find more choice than on the Libidex website, where there are currently around 80 different leotard styles to choose from — including the seven best sellers featured in this article.

The frilly Can-Can Cape or simpler Boulevard Cape can be added to pretty much any outfit (latex or not) as an accessorising touch (rather like a shrug), but both look especially fetching when teamed with co-ordinated or contrasting latex lingerie!

Latex, with its optional translucence and the way it drapes when used for loose-fit garments, can look and feel great when used for gowns and robes that might be worn in the bathroom or boudoir!

In the image above we feature two variations on our Marilyn Robe, starting on the far left with our best-selling, diaphanous, full-length version shown in translucent pink. The garments centre-left and centre-right above are the Archara Gown and Fantasia Gown. The Archara night gown, with its wide neckline trim and similarly-trimmed bell sleeves is based on a traditional Thai style, while the Fantasia’s wide sleeve openings are inspired by traditional Japanese styling with striking trim featuring an Art Deco-inspired fan motif.

In the men’s section of this latexwear roundup, we’re focusing on robes, gowns, aprons and capes from the Hard and Heavy 1 & 2 ranges, starting with our offerings in the rear-fastening hospital gown department.

On the far left in green above is our Hospital Gown (Long Sleeves), while next to it in blue is our standard Hospital Gown with shorter sleeves. However, if you like the basic rear-opening hospital gown but would prefer something a bit less covering, let us refer you to this article’s top image where you’ll see our cheeky little Hospital Top — the perfect solution for ‘access all areas’ requirements.

We finish off this latexwear roundup with a trio of men’s aprons which, it’s fair to say, have not been designed primarily with the kitchen sink in mind! On the far left and far right above are examples of our Hardcore Cross Back Apron shown in translucent blue and translucent natural, both with black trim. This apron features a handy front pocket that not only gives you somewhere to keep your toys but also provides a smidgeon of modesty cover if you accidentally left home without any pants on.

At centre-left and centre-right in the final image of this roundup are two stylish variations on another apron theme. The right-hand style in this pair is our Zip Apron, featuring a full-length front zip with four sliders that offer a number of interesting combinations of ‘open’ and ‘closed’ to suit different moods. The left-hand variant, the Dash Apron, is a more extreme version of the Zip Apron with six zips on the front allowing exposure of different areas of the body. In both cases the red zips have been specified as the second trim colour.
