  1. What thicknesses are Libidex garments made in?
    • We use different thicknesses of latex, depending on the garment. As a guide, these are the thicknesses we make our best-sellers in:

      Catsuits 0.40mm
      Hoods 0.40mm
      Stockings 0.25mm
      Shirts 0.50mm
      Jeans 0.80mm
      Dresses 0.50mm
      Tops 0.50mm
      Leggings 0.40mm
      Tights 0.25mm
      Gloves 0.40mm
      Corsets 3.10mm

      Of course you can have garments made in other thicknesses if you prefer. But please discuss this with us before placing your order, as some thicknesses are not suitable for certain garments.
  2. How can I be sure the garments are going to fit me?
    • We make garments in a range of different standard sizes from XS to XXL - you can see what these sizes are in terms of measurements by going to our size chart. These standard sizes will fit most people. However, if you want us to make garments to your own measurements, we offer a made to measure and made to fit service. You can send us your own measurements by email using our made-to-measure form, or you can come to our shop or workshop for a fitting (where we take your measurements for you)
  3. Can I exchange my garment if it's the wrong size?
    • Yes - if say you've ordered a size small and actually you need a medium, we will exchange it free of charge for you; but we will only replace it with the same style of garment. You must also return the original garment to us.
  4. How long will it take to exchange and does it cost me anything?
    • o If you exchange a Made to Order garment, then we have to remake it. We will normally do this within 30 days, but at busy times it may take us a bit longer. The only cost to you will be to pay the postage to us and from us. For LatexEXPRESS items, we will normally despatch the new size within a few days, provided we have it in stock.
  5. What if my made-to-measure garments don't fit me?
    • If this is because you have given us the wrong measurements, then we can remake the garment for you, but at an additional 60% of the original cost. If it's our fault, then we will remake the garment for you at no extra cost. Please go to our made to measure page for full details on how this service works.
  6. How can I be sure what the colour of my garment will look like?
    • While our colour chart is one of the most accurate around, if you are unsure of what a colour will look like, then we will be happy to send you up to 3 colour samples, free of charge. If you want more colour samples than this, then you will have to buy our full colour swatch, which is £10.00 plus postage. We cannot offer refunds or exchanges if the colour is not what you expected.
  7. What latex do you use to make Libidex garments?
    • We use our own brand of latex sheeting called Radical Rubber. This is manufactured to our own specification in Malaysia (where all the best latex comes from!) and is of comparable quality to other makes of fashion-grade latex sheeting.
  8. Will I get an allergic reaction if I wear Libidex clothing?
    • Allergic reactions to latex can happen, but are very rare. Radical Rubber sheeting (unlike some other brands of latex sheeting) is leached to reduce the allergenic proteins that occur naturally in latex, and is certified to within accepted medical standards. But if you think you may have an allergy to latex, it's best not to wear it!
  9. How long will it take you to deliver my order?
    • Normally we aim to make and deliver your latex garments within 3-4 weeks. However at busy times (such as during a sale), orders can take up to 8 weeks. LatexEXPRESS items are normally despatched within a few days.
  10. Can you ship abroad?
    • Yes! It doesn't matter which country you live in, we can ship your order to anywhere in the world. We will normally send your order by registered / insured post, but if you want it quickly, we can arrange for a courier service such as Fedex or UPS (at extra cost). Postage is based on the weight of your order and will be calculated when you place it.
      PLEASE NOTE: if you want to use your own courier or forwarder, you must make all arrangements and payments directly with them, and we cannot take responsibility for any delays in shipment caused by your courier. We only do business directly with our own approved couriers and forwarders.
  11. Is there any way you can make my order more quickly?
    • Yes - we have a Rapid Service where for an extra fee we can prioritise your order, and despatch it to you within 24 hours if necessary. This service may not be available at very busy times.
  12. Can I get my order within 24 hours?
    • No - we only undertake to despatch the order within 24 hours. Orders must be received before 12.00pm UK time to ensure next day despatch. We do not accept responsibility for the length of time it may take to get to you via courier or post.
  13. Do you supply garments from stock?
    • Yes. Our LatexEXPRESS service has a wide variety of our most popular styles and colours in stock and ready to be despatched in a matter of days. We also keep a good stock at our Covent Garden, London boutique Liberation.
  14. Can I change my order after I've placed it?
    • We can accept any changes you want to make to your order up to 7 days after you've placed it, but after that, when the order is in production, we can't make any more changes. We cannot accept change to express orders once they have been placed.
  15. Can I add to an existing order?
    • No, once an order has been placed on the website and processed, we can't accept any additional items on that order. If you want to order additional items, please place another order.
  16. Can I cancel my order?
    • For made to order items, you can cancel your order within 7 days of placing it, but you must inform us you wish to do so in writing (email is fine). We cannot accept cancellations or refund your money after this period. Cancellations are subject to a 20% administration fee. Orders for LatexEXPRESS items may be cancelled without charge if the item has not yet been sent out; otherwise it must be sent back to us no later than 7 days after you received the item.
  17. Can I get a refund if I decide I don't like the garments when I receive them?
    • We cannot offer refunds for Made to Order garments on the grounds that you don't like what you've been sent. This is because such garments are made to order to the customer's specification and it is very difficult for us to re-sell them. LatexEXPRESS items may be returned for any reason for a full refund within 7 days of you receiving them from us. Please ensure you return goods to us using Registered Post or Signed-For delievry, or the equivalent. We cannot refund your money if the item goes missing in the post.
  18. What if the garments are faulty or not what I ordered?
    • In this case we will offer to replace them free of charge; offer you a credit note to the value of the goods off your next purchase; or offer you a full refund. However you must notify us of any such faults, and return the goods to us, within 7 days of you receiving them.
      PLEASE NOTE that any items returned for refund or exchange must be in an unused and unworn condition (apart from being tried on for size) and must not have been treated or altered in any way (for example by chlorination or using non-approved cleaning agents).
